But you may not be aware of the super function area that they have right on the roof!

We found out only recently, when were invited to a wedding buffet there, to celebrate the marriage of the lovely Angie and David. Angie works at the hotel, and David is well known locally as a handyman. We stepped out of the lift, which delivered us right to the rooftop terrace, to some stunning views over Benidorm.

To the south, we have the beautiful Mediterranean, to the north the mountains…WOW!!!

Our host, and owner of “The Queens” was the lovely Wayne, he laughed as he saw the look of surprise on our faces, and quickly gave us a cooling glass of sangria to welcome us. The terrace has its own bar, and was liberally scattered with parasols, which gave plenty of shade to anyone who wanted to just sit back and listen to the soft music playing.

We asked Wayne later, “what sort of functions could you do up here?”

He replied “Everything from wedding celebrations, to birthdays to christenings, you name it!” We were interrupted by the arrival of the buffet, and what a spread it was!

We found out a little later that Wayne and his staff could cater for intimate parties of say 10 people, up to a maximum of around 70, and that there were lots of choices for hot or cold buffets, or even sit down meals, and of course, at a budget tailor made to the individual……. What a cracking place!

There is also of course the alternative of the beautifully laid out indoor dining area for those who would prefer that setting. From everyone at Roundtown we would like to say congratulations to David and Angie, and good luck for the future!
