The food is then delivered to your door absolutely free of charge, beautifully packaged and comes with full instructions, in English, of how to prepare – either in the oven or microwave – from frozen to table in a matter of minutes. Ignoring my personal perception of frozen ready meals, I put a roast beef dinner to the test it being a typical meal that most enjoy but can’t find time to prepare and it really did exceed my expectations. The roast beef tasted as good as any I’ve eaten (except my mum’s!) the meat was moist, the Yorkshire pud was crisp and the gravy smooth. The kids never suspected I hadn’t prepared it and therefore as a busy mum I’ll definitely put in an order so I know I’ve got some home cooked food at the ready for the occasions I can’t cook. Furthermore, the meals all come with nutritional facts too so if you’ve any dietary needs or are watching your weight you can plan your meals accordingly. How Much? The meals range from 2.40 euros for a beef steaklet meal, for example, to 5.90 euros for duck in orange sauce, with everything in between. But a good idea is to order the Taster Pack. It comes with 5 days worth of tasty main meals and 5 desserts and costs just 28 euros. It’s a great way to try this service that we could all use, if not ALL the time, certainly as a back up.
