(Benidorm)  The towns of Alfaz & Albir take festive decorations very seriously; the streets are lit with plenty of twinkling lights.

 

Norway sends an honoree spruce to take pride of place on the Casa de Cultura forecourt and a huge nativity scene is built around the base of the town’s famous pine tree in the church square. Furthermore, to spread the Christmas cheer the town hall are running a series of competitions offering some great prizes. Shopkeepers with the best dressed window displays can win an advertising campaign to the value of 750€ on radio & TV Alfaz. And residents of the town can enter in the best decorated Christmas tree category and win 170€ or try for the best nativity scene and win a whopping 350€. To enter, ask for a form in the town hall in Alfaz.
