ITV’s Daybreak did Benidorm!
(Benidorm) Tourists and locals were delighted to find themselves the stars of ITV’s Daybreak recently when the show picked Benidorm to film live from….thus injecting a little sunshine into the UKs’ homes on what was otherwise another drizzly grey start to the month of August in good old Blighty! Daybreak presenter Steve Hargrave and the ITV team spent a week here in the run up to the event gathering footage from the resort’s most prominent landmarks like Terra Mitica, Aqualand and the famous Benidorm nightlife.  Then on August 1st they filmed live from the Levante beach joined by special guest Chrissy Rock, (aka Janey in the comedy series Benidorm), local tribute bands Girls Aloud, Take That and many well known local expats.On August 2nd they chose the Hotel Pelicanos poolside as their backdrop - it being the scene of the fictious Solano Hotel in the hit series Benidorm – where again, presenter Steve was joined by stars of the popular comedy. This was a great opportunity to show the nicer sides of our resort to the masses in Britain and a big Thank You goes to the production team and everyone else involved with the process. Now let’s hope all the viewers decide Benidorm is the perfect location for a last minute summer holiday and rush to book! |

Hi was so good to see a lot of familiar faces on daybreak! Me and my daughter love our secnd home so much and really miss all our friends in beni when we have to come home! But we will see u all again soon for my 14th visit lol love to u all xxx

enjoiyed looking at benidorm on daybreak. however i would have thought they would have shown some of the amenities and clubs round and about instead of mainly on the beach. my wife and i go to "beni" at leat six times a year and theres so much to see and do.
