New Football Ground For Benidorm
(Benidorm)  Footballl in Benidorm. Campsite corner at the back of the Rincon in Benidorm is the chosen location for the town’s new football ground. 25,000m2 of land has been purchased by private investors to create the ’Ciudad de Futbol’ (City of Football).

 

The first phase at a cost of 3 million euros is to create a grass pitch on the site that was once the town’s dog track and this will be followed by 2 artificial pitches.
"The idea is to promote sports tourism at a more local level" explained Jaume Domenech, spokesperson and current manager of Benidorm’s own football club "We want the pitches easily accessible to the hotels so clubs from all over Spain and Europe can train at the grounds and holiday in Benidorm".
