Campsites in Benidorm. Benidorm weather encourages camp sites! Benidorm has some of the best campsites in Spain. Benidorm weather encourages people to camp and caravans are modern and large, with almost a dozen campsites located on the outskirts of Benidorm, ranging from basic ’plot only’ sites to stunning five star complexes complete with free form pools, gyms and jacuzzis.

Benidorm is incredibly flat making it an ideal destination for campsite guests whose preferred method of transport is often a bicycle and a trip into Benidorm or the neighbouring seaside town of Albir takes just a few minutes either by bus or bicycle. Many roads have a bicycle lane to make the journey safer and more enjoyable - and weather permitting it’s a great way to top up your tan!

Many of the sites are a real home away from home for the hundreds of ’snowbirds’ who flock to the sunny shores of the Costa Blanca to avoid the sub zero temperatures of their homeland throughout the winter months. But banish all thoughts of carry on camping from your mind; these abodes are well equipped with every home comfort from fitted kitchens in the awnings to satellite TV in the lounge. Some sites even offer static homes with several bedrooms and (wait for it) your own washing machine! There is a real sense of comraderie amongst the guests of different nationalities (but mostly Brits!) that spend their winters together on these sites and they really have a ball, playing boules or swimming in the heated pools by day, and enjoying the non-stop entertainment close by in Benidorm at night.
