Benidorm theme parks.

Aqualand – a water park open from May to September inclusive (weather permitting) Aqualand is the ‘oldest’ of thee parks and by far the most popular. A perfect place for all the family, there are rides for every age form a toddlers area with tiny slides to seriously scary vertical chutes and river round the park for those who fancy a calmer day! There are massive shady picnic areas so do like the Spaniards and take your own food and make a real day of it. Mundomar – a marine life park especially popular with the younge members of the family, Mundomar is usually open from March to November inclusive. From flamingos and seals to penguins and parrots there’s lots to see and do and the park is wheelchair and pushchair friendly too. But the dolphins are the stars of the day and their fabulous show, set against the backdrop of Benidorm is amazing. Terra Mitica – A theme park of American sized proportions, Terra Mitica is sprawled across the mountain behind Benidorm and is usually open weekends from March to December and everyday from mid June to mid September. There’s lots of rides to keep all the family amused and mini versions of the bigger ones for the little ones, plus a boat ride around the park if all the walking gets too much. Terra Natura – An animal park, Terra natura lies to the side of Terra Mitica on the4 mountain behind Benidorm. Home to animals form all around the world, there’s a farm area where the little ones can get up close and personal, a huge avery full of exotic birds and a cleverly designed elephant enclosure which makes you feel like you’re on safari! Aqua Natura – Located adjacent to Terra Natura on the mountain behind Benidorm, Aqua Natura is the newest addition to the resort’s theme parks. A water park, it’s got a huge freeform pool in the centre with the slides, chutes and whirl-pools located around it making it the perfect place for kids seeking freedom and parents wanting to keep a watchful eye. There’s a great toddler area and fringe benefits include aerobic in the pool twice a day plus the chance to swim with the seals or the sharks – yikes!
